Chutes and Ladders in 2010

By Dana Rausch / December 30, 2010

December 30, 2010 Christmas has been enjoyable this year. It was less stressful, I had more time on my hands, and just all around pleasant. As I decorated, it was nice to walk down memory lane as I uncovered each treasured ornament or decoration. I love snowmen, and I practically know each of mine by […]

My Little Old Man

By Dana Rausch / December 8, 2010

December 8, 2010 I witnessed the saddest thing at the airport on Monday that I cannot erase from my mind. While Don and I were in the Honolulu airport at 6:00am, waiting for our plane, we bought a cup of coffee and sat in one of the chairs. Don walked away for a moment and […]

Come Home

By Dana Rausch / November 11, 2010

November 11, 2010  “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.”  Jeremiah 31:3 I have always been an animal lover. As a young girl, my bed was littered with stuffed animals of various kinds and wherever I went, they had to accompany me.  As I grew older and since […]

Ready and Waiting

By Dana Rausch / October 27, 2010

October 27, 2010  It is bittersweet knowing that our college football days are coming to an end. There are five games left and a good possibility of a bowl game on Christmas Eve in Hawaii.  Three years ago we were wondering if this was just another stepping stone in Brent’s football career and if he […]
